What to Expect
At Sage & Snow Health & Wellness, we are committed to providing safe, ethical, and personalized medical care through a fully online telehealth model. Below is an overview of what clients can expect when beginning care with us.
Initial Consultation
All clients begin with a one-on-one telehealth video consultation with a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner. During this visit, we will:
Review your medical history and current concerns
Discuss symptoms, lifestyle factors, and health goals
Evaluate prior lab work or recommend appropriate blood testing
Determine if peptide therapy, GLP-1 medications, or other treatments are clinically appropriate
Treatment is not guaranteed and is prescribed only when medically indicated and safe.
Medical Eligibility & Prescriptions
All therapies offered by Sage & Snow require:
Completion of a medical intake and consent forms
Clinical review by a licensed medical provider
Ongoing monitoring and follow-up
Prescriptions are issued solely at the discretion of the medical provider and are based on current medical guidelines, patient history, and lab results when applicable.
Labs & Monitoring
Blood testing may be required prior to starting therapy and periodically during treatment. Labs allow us to:
Establish safe baselines
Monitor response and effectiveness
Identify potential side effects or contraindications
Adjust or discontinue treatment if necessary
Clients are responsible for completing labs as recommended to maintain active treatment.
Treatment Expectations & Results
Individual results vary. Response to peptides, GLP-1 medications, and other therapies depends on factors such as:
Genetics and baseline health
Nutrition and lifestyle habits
Medication adherence
Sleep, stress, and activity levels
These therapies are tools—not cures or guarantees—and are most effective when combined with healthy lifestyle choices.
Safety & Side Effects
All medical treatments carry potential risks and side effects. Your provider will review:
Expected benefits
Possible side effects
Warning signs that require medical attention
Clients are encouraged to report symptoms promptly and follow all medical instructions. Emergency care should be sought immediately for urgent or life-threatening symptoms.
Telehealth Limitations
Telehealth is convenient and effective for many services, but it has limitations. We may:
Refer you to in-person care when necessary
Decline or discontinue treatment if telehealth is not clinically appropriate
Sage & Snow does not replace your primary care provider or emergency medical services.
Ongoing Care & Follow-Ups
Ongoing care may include:
Follow-up telehealth visits
Lab reviews and treatment adjustments
Education and guidance to support long-term success
Continued treatment depends on medical necessity, compliance, and safety.
Informed Consent & Responsibility
By participating in care at Sage & Snow Health & Wellness, clients acknowledge that:
All medical decisions are made in partnership with a licensed provider
Participation is voluntary
They are responsible for providing accurate health information
No specific outcomes are promised or guaranteed
